                    Model Leaning Over

I was reading a fashion magazine, looking for ideas to paint, when I saw a picture of a woman leaning over to showcase a dress. I liked the idea of using textured paper over the already-painted background to juxtapose the textures of her dress. I became more interested in the fabrics than the actual figure competing with the negative and positive shapes of the painting. click on image to view a close up detail.
